What we collect

The contact form. If you use the form on the contact page, we receive whatever you type into it — typically your name, phone number, email address and details about your septic system or property. The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-handling service that passes your message to our email inbox.

Calls and texts. If you call or text (361) 212-2245, we see your phone number, the same as any phone would show it.

Visitor statistics. This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so we know which parts of the site are useful. It records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the country you are, and whether you arrived from a search engine — and it sets cookies in your browser to do that. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it for advertising. If you'd rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Nothing else in the background. There is no account system, no advertising trackers, and nothing else stored in your browser.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your inquiry, give you a price, schedule the work and keep normal business records of jobs we've done. That's it. We do not sell your information, share it with marketers, or add you to mailing lists.

Services this site relies on

A few third parties are involved in making the site work, and each may technically process some of your data:

• Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, its servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and operations.
• Web3Forms transmits contact-form submissions to our email.
• Google Analytics provides the visitor statistics described above. Google receives the technical details of your visit, including your IP address.

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing what it does with technical data.

How long we keep it

Messages and job records are kept for as long as we need them to run the business — for example, to know when your tank was last pumped. If you'd like something deleted, ask.

Your choices

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Reach us at layne@onepumpseptic.com or (361) 212-2245, or by mail at 1703 Boehm Rd, Victoria, TX 77905.

Children

This site is for people who need a septic tank pumped. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page.
